Dissertation Editing
We will make sure that your dissertation is ready for submission! Our services include proofreading, copy editing, formatting and citation assistance.
In order to do this, we will ask your department’s style guide and for any insight received from your dissertation chair and/or committee. We will do a phone consultation where we discuss your needs in depth, and keep in contact with you throughout the editorial process so that you’re kept aware of our progress.
For optional dissertation style formatting, we will check in-text citations or footnotes, headings, in-text tables and figures, and organize a reference or works cited page. This also includes formatting a Table of Contents and a Table of Tables and Table of Figures. We are familiar with all major style guides including APA, MLA, Chicago, and Harvard. We always refer to the latest edition unless otherwise requested.
Please note that we do not offer content editing for doctoral dissertations.

Essay Editing
We want to make sure that your essay meets its content requirements and is written in an academic tone with proper grammar and formatting. In order to do this, we will ask you for the essay’s prompt and then fix run-on sentences, incorrect tense usage, typographic errors, content inconsistencies and repetitiveness, and general formatting issues.
We are familiar with all major style guides including APA, MLA, Chicago, and Harvard. We always refer to the latest edition unless otherwise requested.
For master’s level and below humanities and social science essays we can do content editing on request for $0.02/ word. Otherwise, we do copy editing and/or proofreading.
